Our talented interpreters can support a wide range of languages, providing virtual or face-to-face services to help ensure everyone is understood.

Allowing everyone to follow the conversation

Our interpreting services are available to help facilitate the conversation where not every participant shares the same language. Helping to provide direct interpreting both ways, so discussions can be followed and any key decisions can be effectively made. There’s a great deal of benefit to providing an interpreter, including making participants feel valued and respected.

Our interpreters have extensive training and experience, and hold recognised qualifications such as Community Interpreting or the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI). Where new interpreters wish to work for NRL, we’ll undertake a thorough assessment of their application prior to them starting – to ensure they meet our high standards.

When working with you, they’ll practice the impartial model of interpreting – which means you can expect strict confidentiality, delivered in line with our strong code of ethics.

What we interpret

Our team of interpreters can help with:

  • Business Meetings
  • Conferences
  • Solicitor Appointments
  • Prison Visits
  • Court Hearings
  • Children’s Social Services Meetings
  • School/Parent Meetings
  • Medical Consultations

Providing remote interpreting

Businesses are now adopting video meetings and conferencing much more regularly. Reducing the need for overseas travel and the associated expenses incurred when hosting meetings to bring people together from different countries.

Virtual video interpreting is also ideal to organise ad-hoc meetings, and to support appointments such as court hearings.

If you need interpreting support for a remote meeting, conference or video appointment then we’ll work with you to identify the right interpreter with the language skills and sector experience to make your meeting as effective as possible.

Delivering interpreting services to the legal sector

We’re fully versed in supporting the legal process, and regularly work with solicitors and legal professionals to provide a range of interpreting services.

We understand the requirements to work across police investigations, legal proceedings and social services cases, and can adhere to Legal Aid rates.

Most importantly, our interpreters will work with respect and compassion, to build an impartial yet trusted rapport with all participants.

We’re delighted when we get great feedback from our clients after we’ve supported them with a language project.

I have always enjoyed working for EB as translator and interpreter. They are very experienced and professional, and value my contribution/work/comments. I really appreciate their "personal" approach - they take the time to add a personal comment to emails. I have the feeling that I am part of a team which shares the same values of professionalism, and there is mutual respect. It's a pleasure working with EB.

As a translator, I have been working for Eldon Bureau for many years. The communication is always pleasant, the deadlines are always realistic and the payment is always correct. In short, a very pleasant cooperation which I hope to continue for a long time to come.
